PSA: Posting your Face on Furry Kyodo???
[B]Wondering about posting cool furry fashion or poodling pics on Kyodo, but worried about Kyodo's guidelines? Well here's a simplified post to tell you what is and isn't allowed in our circle!
[B]General rule: ALL posts/pictures of yourself on this circle must be "furry" in nature. Think fursuiting, going to a furcon, or even something as simple as wearing ears!
[B]Under 18: Posting yourself is fine, but your face MUST be at least partially covered! Acceptable coverings include:
- Face mask
- Bandana/balaclava
- Colouring over face / editing out face or head in photoshoot
- Fursuit head
- Therian Mask!
- Face-covering helmet (like a motorcycle helmet)
Not acceptable face coverings (only fine if paired with something from the acceptable list!):
- only bangs covering eyes
- only face paint/makeup
So for example: wearing just makeup is not okay. But a mask covering the lower half of your face and makeup over your eyes is totally fine!
[B]18+: Posting your face is totally okay, within reason! Be cautious with it. Always remember: if you're unsure, it's probably better not to post.
[B]Here are some dos and don'ts for people who want to know what's okay to post!
Don'ts:
- Anything NSFW/suggestive in nature. You must still follow Furry Kyodo guidelines!
- Post yourself randomly. All posts must be furry/therian/kemonomimi in nature!
- Face reveal. Especially baiting face reveals for followers or likes with posts like "will face reveal at 50 followers!".
- Posting yourself as "bait" e.g "looking for a girl/boyfriend!" "Looking for friends!"
Dos: [B]- Furry fashion! Be it furry, kemonomimi, therian, put on some ears and show off that fabulous fur photoshoot!
- Fursuiting!!! Solo, in a Group, at a con, it's all welcome here!
- Therian and Kemonomimi pics! Show off your ears, tails, and masks galore!
I hope you all find this post helpful. People are going to be posting themselves on the internet no matter what we do. Hopefully with these rules in place we can give people a safe space to express themselves without worrying about creeps or other troublesome people. Remember: posting your face to the internet will always have some sort of consequence. Make sure you think before you act.
