This is an original creator owned story driven Roleplay inspired by the western superhero myth infused with the action and energy of our contemporaries in Japanese Shonen anime and manga! Here you can play as your own superhero, anti-hero, citizen, or supervillain of this gigantic and fantastical world. The choice is all yours! You can either protect this world, destroy it, survive in it, or change it forever. After all, this is YOUR legacy to forge and leave behind! Pulling inspirations from Marvel, DC, My Hero Academia, Invincible, and more? Xerno seeks to pull on all the threads that we love from the superhero genre and bind them together to usher in a fresh and bold new universe for a new tomorrow.

ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴏʀᴇ

For decades, governments across the globe treated those with powers as something other than human. Labeled “Deviants,” set to be hunted down and experimented on, or otherwise outright killed. “Humanity” let this happen… and so the Deviants used their gifts and fought back.

Led by the revolutionary, Adam Westworth, infamously named the “Deathgripper,” the House of Steel bested entire armies on the battlefield and put nations on the back foot through their might alone. Dominoes collapsed, and powerful Deviants joined his cause, tearing open prisons and facilities to bolster their forces further. Even with the help of Deviants who had chosen to fight against Adam, the old guard was set to collapse as a new order was swiftly set in place. That is, until the first true heroes emerged from the shadows.

Inspired by fallen idealists and the comic books of old, dressed in colorful costumes to inspire hope, these fighters managed to combat the House of Steel! From every success in this war, more came to their aid and emerged from hiding, until the tides had turned enough that the House of Steel was forced into a final stand at their last stronghold; Bastion City. There, the fated battle between the Golden Champion, Captain Fist, and the overlord of the House of Steel, The Deathgripper, was decided… and the world entered a new age.

The Age of Heroes.

𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐄:

𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲

Its hard to say how old the ravenous interlopers known as the Blood Moon Empire are, but what has been gathered from the wreckages of their advanced vessels used to terrorize our world as well as the seized databanks, has painted a bleak picture of our new enemies. They come from an alternate world where the heroes lost. Where the tide of villainy swept like a tsunami and extinguished all sources of hope. Harboring knowledge far beyond modern technical means, and possessing the nefarious power source of ancient relics, this Interdimensional empire will stop at nothing to appease its endless appetite for destruction. Even if that means arranging war games, as if it’s ruthless Empress Crimson desires to play with her food. While it grants our world a chance, they seem intent on giving us the means to fight them… only to snuff us out too. For the sake of the world, we must defeat them.

ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴜɴɪᴛʏ ɢᴜɪᴅᴇʟɪɴᴇꜱ

I know rules may not be the funnest thing ever, but they are important! So before joining this Amino, please make sure to read the following rules listed below...

[✨]Literates only- This is a literate only Amino! No one liners allowed. Although we prefer quality over quantity, we still require atleast semi literate RP skills.

[✨]OCs only- Although this is a Superhero vs Supervillian Roleplay, the world itself and the characters involved are still wholly original (Oc: Original character). This means that we don’t Roleplay as canon characters from other franchises such as Marvel and DC. We also don’t allow any relations to cannon characters such as “Batman’s son” or “Ironman’s daughter”. However we do allow the usage of faceclaims here as long as they remain as such and are attached to an original character.

[✨]No bullying and harassment- We want this Circle to feel like a large group of friends. Although we have a lot of fun here and joke around, bullying and harassment is not allowed! There will be consequences. After a warning you will either be kicked out of the chat temporarily or given a 24 hour strike. If this goes on and other members start to feel uncomfortable, you will be banned.
